Overview
- Fawligen is a baculovirus selective to Fall Armyworm larvae, having no impact on any other species.
- Initial Australian data has confirmed Fawligen is primarily effective only on 1st and 2nd instar larvae.
- Fawligen is only to be used with high application water rates and accuracy.
- The APVMA has granted Fawligen an Emergency use permit in a range of crops effective from 30th March, 2020.
- The permit conditions require that all use and users are recorded.
- Fawligen is now available to users and resellers who are accredited to use the product.
- Australian Certified Organic (ACO) have approved
Fawligen as an allowed input.
The APVMA have granted an Emergency Use Permit for Fawligen use in a range of crops, effective 30 March 2027
